gulp-buster

gulp-buster (v1.1.0) is a Gulp plugin that generates cache-busting hashes (fingerprints) for static assets. It computes MD5-like hashes of file contents and writes them to a JSON manifest (busters.json). Unlike gulp-rev, it does not rename files but instead produces a mapping for URL rewriting. The plugin integrates with gulp-watch for real-time updates. Releases are infrequent; latest stable is 1.1.0 (2015). Requires Node >= 0.10.
