Danby

Danby is a lightweight web server that proxies gRPC microservices to browsers without requiring client-side libraries. Version 2.0.5 is the latest stable release. It uses helmet.js for secure HTTP headers, supports proxying multiple gRPC services and HTTP routes, and serves static files. Configuration is via a TOML file. Key differentiators: no client-side gRPC library needed, minimal setup, and support for multiple backends.
