Checklist for Japan’s Business Manager Visa requirements after the Oct 2025 reforms.

Steps

  1. Transfer ¥30M capital to a personal bank account in Japan.
  2. Register the Kabushiki Kaisha (KK) or Godo Kaisha (GK).
  3. Hire at least one Japanese national or permanent resident.
  4. Have the business plan certified by a Japan-licensed CPA or scrivener.
  5. Submit the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) application.
