SystemJS Builder

SystemJS Builder is a build tool designed for SystemJS (versions 0.x, up to 0.21). It enables the creation of single-file bundles from mixed-dependency module trees, encompassing ES6, CommonJS, AMD, and global scripts. A key feature was its ability to correctly handle circular references and bindings across these module formats, supporting CSP-compatible SystemJS loaders. The project is currently at version 0.16.15, which primarily includes maintenance fixes like locking a compatible Terser version. However, this project is officially deprecated as of SystemJS 2.0, with the recommendation to use Rollup for modern code splitting builds. It continues to support legacy SystemJS 0.21 builds but receives no active feature development, maintaining a very slow release cadence focused on critical bug fixes for its existing user base.
